We are excited that your child has decided to play at Davie Little League!
We know that questions come up and we are HERE TO HELP!
Here's what we have found to be some of our FAQ:
My child has no experience, can they play?
Yes! DLL is made up of all levels of experience.
What ages can play?
Ages 3-15. See the appropriate divisions for more information on how many seasons are required at each level first before moving up. (ie. Tee Ball before coach pitch, etc) These are located under the Baseball & Softball tabs.
What is my kid's Little League Age?

Can I volunteer or coach?
Yes! DLL is always looking for great coaches and volunteers.
Make sure you sign up to volunteer through the website. Anyone that assists in any capacity must be registered.
Will you have to work concession?
No! We have a concession team that manages itself.
When are practices & games?
Days and times vary weekly, and normally begin at 6pm on weekdays and as early as 9am on weekends. Each team has a different time and location. As Davie LL maintains several fields away from DLL, you will be traveling to other fields within Davie County for practices and games. You will also (possibly) be traveling to other local Little League for games if your child's division is inter-leaguing.
The younger kids are given priority for the early evening practices & games.
When will I get my schedule?
Once we have evaluations, the teams will be decided and the coach will reach out. They will let you know the first practice date and keep you informed about future practice dates. The game schedule will come out a few weeks before opening day.
If my child cannot make evaluations, can they still play?
YES! Although we HIGHLY recommend that parents make every effort to bring their child, even if they are a repeat player at DLL, we know life comes up. They will be notified at a later date which team they are on. Parents are responsible for obtaining all of the updated information that is provided at evaluations during the parent meeting.
Will you have to help the coach?
Yes! Parents must help the coaches rake the fields and clean up after every practice & game.
What equipment does my child need?
View our: DLL Equipment Guide
We also have a donation closet of used sports equipment for parents to get equipment for their child if they need it.
Have a concern?
Reach out to the appropriate board member.
Does it cost to play?
